My stepmom has been here for a couple of weeks. It is always clean. The staff is great, friendly and professional. They seem to really care about their patients. And my stepmom has enjoyed her stay. Highly recommend them.

Too many patients per nurse, unable to give appropriate care for individuals! Those with acute issues do not get the attention and service they need from nurses! Would not recommend putting a loved one at the facility as the nurses are unskilled and take on more than they can handle!

The quality of nursing staff makes a huge impact on the care and recovery of each patient. In the year we have been here, we have seen many changes. The current Director of Nursing has made incredible changes for the better in hiring caring, compassionate and capable staff and eliminating the ones who do not truly want to do what is best for each patient. This gives more confidence in recommending Lakewood Post Acute as the best place to recover. The entire staff is great and the facility is beautiful. The kitchen staff make a sincere effort to accommodate a patient’s diet and wishes.

Really pleasant professional staff. The building is in a beautiful part of Lakewood and rooms are spacious and comfortable. Excellent nursing, care team , patient services, activities, PT and OT staff.

So pleased that I found Lakewood Acute Post Care. My recovery from Hip Surgery and Stage 4 wound care was exceptional. The coordination between all Depts was great with main focus on giving the best care possible. Really enjoyed all the Activities that were in-house ..from Arts and Crafts, to games to “High Stakes Bingo” . Food was quite good with a Healthy variety plus snacks available 24/7. Really nice clean environment and great neighborhood setting with lots of opportunities for Fresh Air. Only downside I experienced was the lack of staffing on the overnight shift..that could be improved.

This is such a beautiful building and it has so much potential for what they can do to bring people in. It’s sad that they only are able to fill a unit for people. But I hope that they are able to fill the building (even the upstairs which is sad that they haven’t had residents on the 2nd floor except for activities or therapy in who knows how long). Some of the staff here are pretty down right rude it’s kind of sad actually. In a way it’s no wonder why they can’t get more people since some staff are as rude as they are. But there really are some good ones there

From the moment I walked in the front door the receptionist was very nice and helpful! Everyone was friendly and nice! Brandan the dietitian guy was great help my friend who is a patient

It was a little hard finding my dad’s room. But once I found it, it was a very nice visit.

Never write reviews, but cannot not this time around. Experienced 2 other rehabs. Lkwd Acute Care is heads and tails above the others. Why? It all comes down to the staff. Plenty of them, they invested in relationship with us and my MIL from day 1 thru 2 wk rehab. Staff is present, know what’s going on, everyone helps, kind & friendly, professional, available & approachable. Under new ownership apparently, and doing care like you want for your loved one. Can’t recommend them highly enough. Heidi G

The rehabilitation facility is aesthetically pleasing, but the employees and care inside are what makes it such a welcoming environment and a facility I would recommend bringing your love one to for Rehabilitation

My 91 year old Mom has been to Lakewood Acute twice in the past year. First time was recovering from broken ribs. They are so good with her even when she was stubborn and didn’t want to do the exercises. You could tell they have a real love for working with older people and understanding their ups and downs. The last time she was there was also a good experience.

I was expecting average level of care here and boy was I surprised. This place was wonderful. Entire staff were delightful. They were beyond friendly to me and one another. I never waited more than 2-3 minutes for a response to my call button. The food was pretty good and plenty of it. You can’t go wrong by staying here.

Visited my sister and stayed overnight. Staff was very supportive.

Everyone here is so friendly and happy to help. My grandma came here after a fall and they are taking great care of her!

After being discharged from the hospital; they sent me to Lakewood Post Acute to continue with my recovery after a big surgery. This place is absolutely awesome. All the staff give me the best care 24/7 that I need to recover before I can go home. Penny is an amazing person, she lights every room that she is in; the nursers, CNA’S and every single one that took care of me was very kind, compassionate, caring and supportive. I feel very blessed and grateful for being there. Thank you, thank you, thank you: Penny and everyone who helped me through my struggles and helped me to feel better and getting ready to go home. I love you all! ♥️🥰🤗🤗🥰♥️
