I stayed here in September/October last year. I was assuring they would take care of my transportation to dialysis and doctors appointments with their driver. There were two instances where their driver was unable to pick me up so they called a medical transportation company, which was fine. However I have since received a bill from AMR for over $700 for the rides that were arranged through this facility due to their driver not being available. I was not made aware I would be responsible for these charges and I’ve tried contacting the facility several times to get it resolved but no one will take my call or call me back. My stay was another problem, the first day I was there I didn’t get food until I complained to my nurse. I was stuck in a wheelchair unable to get out and the aid just sat watching me struggle to get up until k started crying. I was also given medication that I needed to take with food at odd hours and told you just “take it”. I was also belittled by a PA because I knew my body and health history better than they did. My entire experience here was horrible and I cried almost every day until I was well enough to come home. Please do your research before sending your loved ones here. Update: I still haven’t heard from anyone from this organization. They really drop the ball when it comes to their patients. Update 4/26: I still have not heard anything from anyone from this facility or leadership team. If I don’t hear something soon I will be reporting them to the state.

I am extremely upset and disturbed by what I witnessed during my visit. I went to see a family friend who is recovering at this facility, and found her in a completely unacceptable condition- she was left in soiled clothing and clearly had not been properly cared for. No patient should ever be left like that. It is not only a failure of basic care, but also a violation of dignity and respect. She was so embarrassed and humiliated, and no one recovering should have to go through that. This is exactly the kind of neglect families fear when trusting a facility with their loved ones. Proper hygiene and regular attention are absolute minimum, and this place failed to provide even that. Management needs to take immediate responsibility and ensure that patients are being properly attended to at all times. What I saw should never happen to anyone.

I visit here frequently as a visitor and I wanted to write this review for Silvia. She is a CNA and is WONDERFUL. She always has the best attitude and is working constantly to make sure the patients here are cared for. I really can’t sing her praise high enough. She genuinely cares for everyone around her. She radiates love and compassion AND she is always working her butt off. I would vote her as employee of the year in a heartbeat. If you are her supervisor please know she’s doing an amazing job, going above and beyond 24/7. I would leave any of my loved ones under her care.

Staff was kind, considerate, knowledgeable and told me about 1 and 1/2 hours. I had intake, an x-ray and waited after that about 15 minutes and was seen. Loved it.

This is the best building! Absolutely beautiful and they have the best staff.

We visited Lakewood Acute Post Rehab today. We own a One You Love Homecare agency in Denver and were there to meet with a son and his dad to see about providing homecare when the dad is discharged. The facility is lovely and warm. The staff that we met are kind, friendly and helpful. From our birds eye view, this rehab facility is great and we will recommend it to our clients and families.

From the front desk to the nurses to the cleaning staff, everyone is friendly, helpful, and kind at Lakewood Post Acute. Everything is clean and decorated spectacularly for the holiday. Security is tight and many services are provided in house, including salon services.

All the staff, and nurses were are very helpful, curtious, to help with my Mother’s recovery process

My visit today was top notch. My Mom (the patient) had a clean room, good food, and a visit with physical therapy that was showed great progress! A very pleasant experience for sure!

The Care is impeccable. The food is very good. It is homemade tasting not institutional. The staff is fantastic.

My wife had a heart attack and has a multiplicity of other health problems. She was released from the hospital 10/29 and is still there. She loves it and I’m quite impressed also. The staff is wonderful, so friendly, warm, efficient and knowledgeable . She’s improving and is stronger and able to do more than before her heart attack. The facility is quite beautiful and the rooms are large and furnished like a hotel. She feels like the staff is cheering her on for a successful recovery.

I visited a friend there. The social worker Sarah came in and told my friend about PT and OT and brought her hand lotion. Another girl named Erica, CNA ? came in and explained the menu and how she would help position the dinner tray for my friend when she delivered the meal. Kindly helpers. Very impressed 👏

Visited a friend. It was an easy process.

This place knowingly took in my grandfather without the facilities to take care of him. Everyday they would call the fire department to transfer him to dialysis. The nurses were constantly on the computer doing their home work while patients were in pain. There would be 4 nurses at the station just standing there talking with a terrible attitude. There was only ONE nurse that gave a damn. my grandfather developed pneumonia here because no one cared about the position he was when he was eating and got food stuck in his lungs. this place literally KILLED my grandfather. And I will forever carry the trauma of watching him decline and calling me for help and not being able to do anything. We would have sued you if we weren’t in the throes of grief and taking care of my grandma. If you value your loved ones life DO NOT send them here. They change the name every few years to try and save face but their could not be a worse facility. Why did you take in my grandfather from the hospital knowing you didn’t have the facilities to care for him? Just wanted his insurance money EDIT: I would just like to point out the reply from the owner is exactly the point I’m trying to make. They knowingly took my grandfather from the hospital knowing he needed dialysis THATS THE WHOLE REASON HE WAS IN THE HOSPITAL IN THE FIRST PLACE. So then he was transferred to your facility which does not offer Dialysis so he was forced to have an ambulance come take him back and forth from the Dialysis center across the street on the same campus. He did not have pneumonia when he entered and he left your facility with it which ultimately took his life. Shame on you all.
